How can I the view the information of my preferred institutions at the Virtual Info Expo?
You may enter the “Exhibition Hall" and select the institutions/organisations that you are interested in via the floor plan or the exhibitor list to view the relevant information.
3.
Can I make enquiries to the institutions/organisations direct?
Yes. There is a “Message Box” button in every virtual exhibition booth You only have to enter your name, valid email address/ contact information, and the relevant enquiry. The institution/organisation concerned will reply to you via email or your provided contact as soon as possible.

What are the ways to pursue further studies in Hong Kong after participating in HKDSE Examination?
For further studies in Hong Kong, you are advised to browse the website of “e-Navigator: Multiple Pathways under the New Academic Structure”.  Based on your level of study and orientation, you can make use of this exploration tool to search for programme information across different local institutions from the Qualifications Register.  Programme details are provided by relevant programme operators.  Hyperlinks to official webpages of these programme operators are created for users who wish to grasp more details of individual programme.  You are advised to contact the institutions which are considered desirable directly for detailed information about entrance requirements, curriculum, teaching arrangement, tuition fees, application procedure and application deadline. Please kindly note that the institution admission is administered by individual institution independently.
7.
What are the paths to pursue further studies in Hong Kong after the applicants complete studying outside Hong Kong?
Please note that students holding non-local qualifications may apply for admission to universities/higher institutions in Hong Kong via the Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme.  The admission is administered by individual university/institution independently.  For more information about 22 degree-awarding higher education institutions, you may wish to browse the websites of Study in Hong Kong and Education Bureau: Local Higher Education Institutions .

What are sub-degree programmes?
Sub-degree programmes include programmes leading to qualifications at the level of Associate Degree and Higher Diploma.
9.
What are the differences between Associate Degree and Higher Diploma?
Both Associate Degree and Higher Diploma programmes equip students with generic skills knowledge in specialised disciplines and practical vocational skills. In general, Associate Degree programmes put more emphasis on general education, while Higher Diploma is more vocation-oriented.
10.
How should I choose sub-degree programmes?
When choosing sub-degree programmes, students should approach the institutions for details of the course contents, the subjects offered, their articulation arrangements with other universities etc. For professional programmes, it is important to know whether the programmes are recognised by local or overseas professional bodies and the extent of exemption from professional examinations. In short, students should make detailed enquiries and comparisons before they decide which programme to enrol in. In this connection, students are encouraged to visit the booths of individual institutions in the “Exhibition Hall” to browse the relevant programme information and make enquiries through the “Message Box” button.
11.
What is “Applied Degree Programmes”?
Qualifications awarded under applied degree programmes will be equivalent to those of conventional academic degrees (i.e. to be pitched at Qualifications Framework Level 5).  Generally speaking, a more flexible admission requirement is be adopted. Apart from academic results, other relevant factors are also considered.  Also, the programmes have an applied focus blending theory and practice, provide substantial internships and work-based learning experience, and prepare graduates for a specific trade/industry, though they can also support articulation to other qualifications.  Besides, there is strong industry involvement in the programme development with trade recognition.  For more details, please click here.

Is E-APP the only channel of applying for the relevant programmes?
Apart from using E-APP, some institutions accept direct application. Applicants may contact the respective institution direct for details.
13.
I have not sit in the 2022 HKDSE, can I use E-APP?
E-APP is an online application system specifically for candidates sitting for the HKDSE in the current academic year. You may lodge applications to relevant institutions direct if you are not a current candidate.
14.
After submitting the application, can I modify my programme choices or personal information on E-APP?
After submitting the application on E-APP, you may submit a request for change of programme to most of the institutions through the system. Changes will only be effected on E-APP after confirmation by the institution concerned. You may also modify most of your personal information after submitting the application. E-APP will then notify your applied institutions of the updated information. However, any changes of name, identity document information, and date of birth are required to be made by E-APP administrator.
15.
Can information/ links be provided on application for scholarships?

16.
Where can I obtain information on the manpower trends in Hong Kong as well as learning and development pathways?
talent.gov.hk is an information portal established by the Human Resources Planning Commission of the HKSAR Government, providing consolidated manpower information to facilitate the making of informed choices in respect of career, learning and development pathways. The online magazine “Explorer” under talent.gov.hk covers a series of trending topics concerning careers and workplaces, such as experience sharing by industry practitioners, development trends of various industries, tips on continuous education, introduction of “hot jobs” and start-up stories, etc. The subscription service is free.
